Planning commission approves plat
NEW ULM — The Preliminary Plat for the Korth’s second subdivision was reviewed and unanimously recommended by the New Ulm Planning Commission, Thursday.
The property is located at 213 KC Road and is designated as low density residential. The plat would be subdivided the current parcel into two lots.
T. Eugene Clark and Jennifer A. Clark are the applicants for this plat and owners of the property. This new plat would allow the sale of part of the property. The plat would be divided into two lots. The first would be 78,844 square feet. The second lot 30,492 square feet.
This recommendation came will conditions to provide a 10′ utility easement on all street frontages and a 5′ utility easement on each side of the lot line between the lots. A residence constructed on the first lot will connect to the City’s utility systems. The utility hookup charges will be determined by the City and Public Utilities Commission at the time the request to connect is made by the property owner.
The preliminary plat will come before the City Council for final approval.
