Fairfax man buys Mayflower Country Club
FAIRFAX — Corey Albrecht of Fairfax recently bought the Mayflower Country Club several miles southwest of town.
Raised on a dairy farm near the golf course, Albrecht and his brothers and sisters worked at the course when they were in high school.
Now they have lots of plans including reopening the driving range and golfing at night with fluorescent balls.
The Albrechts plan to update the club house bar and grille including an elevated deck overlooking Hole No. 9.
The course has been renamed the Mayflower Golf Club. It can be found on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and Snapchat. A new golf course website is being created.
