The Journal’s report on a fatal accident on U.S. Highway 71 south of Sanborn on June 25 contained incorrect information.

Ryan J. Klenken, 37, of Reading, died in the accident after rear-ending a dump truck, causing a chain reaction accident.

Klenken was driving a 2005 Chevy Silverado when he struck a 2015 International dump truck driven by Greg R. Boettger, 56, Springfield, which then struck a 2008 Chevy Silverado driven by Jeffery W. Shaner, 64, Sanborn. Shaner and Boettger were stopped in the northbound lane of 71 near Country Road 41 when the accident happened.

Shaner and Boettger were taken to the Windom hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
