Low-priced gas
One unusual consequence of COVID-19 is the sudden drop in gas prices. In New Ulm, prices reached as low as $2.07 a gallon. This price was relatively high. In some parts of the country, gas has dropped below $2. However, with social isolation becoming the norm, fewer people are taken advantage of the low travel costs.
