Sun dogs are rainbow-like spots on either side of the sun when it is low on the horizon, caused by light refracting through ice crystals in the atmosphere. Isberner is visiting his mother from the Space Coast, Melbourne Beach, Florida. Isberner’s hobby is stratosphere Sun and Moon research. He said this was an amazing capture in his home town.
