The New Ulm Area Chamber of Commerce Willkommen Committee welcomed Cala Contemporary Woodwork into the community. Cala is a small family business run by carpenter Harold Enamorado and his wife Jayme. Cala specializes in handmade furniture made from wood and metal. The company creates pieces based on their designs and takes custom order for both commercial and residential customers. Cala recently opened a new design studio/showroom in New Ulm. The showroom is located at 1227 N. Broadway St. The Willkonmmen Committee held a special ribbon cutting for the showroom. A open house celebration will be held in the show room 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, December 7.
