Hoffmann Counseling Service opens

Gene Taylor (Executive Director, Hoffmann Counseling Services) and Michael Looft (President & CEO, New Ulm Chamber) perform a ribbon cutting ceremony with Hoffmann Counseling Services staff and the Willkommen Committee of the New Ulm Chamber last week. The Willkommen Committee of the New Ulm Area Chamber of Commerce stopped at Hoffmann Counseling Services to welcome them to New Ulm with a ribbon cutting ceremony. Their New Ulm location is a satellite of their St. Peter location. They also have an inpatient residential center. Their staff right now consists of Gene Taylor, Tricia Johnson, Lindsey Boettger, & Rachel Swenson. They provide services for children, even starting at birth, and adults. Some of the counseling they provide includes rehab, in-home or in-office, abuse/domestic violence, trauma work, and more. Hoffmann Counseling Services started in 1979, and started providing outpatient treatment in 1993. It gets referrals from Human Services as well as referrals from probation. They expressed how they are looking for more practitioners as they are growing. Hoffmann Counseling Services accepts most insurance as well.
