Cathedral’s 100th anniversary homecoming

The Cathedral High School marching band marches past the Glockenspiel during the New Ulm Area Catholic Schools homecoming parade Friday afternoon. It is a special homecoming this year, celebrating the 100th anniversary of the Catholic high school in New Ulm.

The public is invited to attend CHS’s Centennial Celebration today, at Cathedral High School and on 6th North Street next to the school. School tours will be held at 10 a.m., noon, 2, 3 and 4 p.m.; Memorabilia displays will be open from 3 to 8 p.m.; family activities from 3 to 5 p.m., Knights of Columbus Food Stand from 4 to 10:30 p.m., and a street dance with the Johnny Holm Band ($10 cover) from 5 to 11 p.m.
