NEW ULM — The New Ulm Water/Steam Department will begin flushing water mains in areas of the community.

Flushing water mains begins Tuesday, Sept. 3 and flushing will be conducted daily from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. until completion. If Water/Steam Department employees are flushing mains in your neighborhood, avoid doing laundry during these hours. Please allow approximately one hour after daily flushing for water to clear.

On Tuesday Sept. 3, Water Department personnel will be flushing water mains on North and South Front Streets and North and South Valley Streets.
