Braun finishes second in 65cc hillclimb

NEW ULM — Kaden Braun, 11, of Sleepy Eye finished second in the 65cc division at the Flying Dutchmen Motorcycle Club hillclimb Sunday.

Braun was clocked in 9.451 seconds. Cameron Mack, 10, of New Ulm was third in 9.461 seconds. Easton Mack 7, of New Ulm was 11th. Jackson Engel, 7, of Lake Crystal was 12th.

Other area hillclimbers placing high were Cameron Mack, fourth in the mini junior at 9.153 seconds. Kaden Braun was eighth. Cameron Mack was sixth in the super mini, 9.243.

Easton Mack was third in the micro mini, going 110 feet. Jace Sandman, 6, of Madelia was seventh.

Damon Warwick, 16, New Ulm, was sixth in the 125cc class, 9.961.

Jason Braun, Sleepy Eye was third in 600 cc, 5.385; fifth, 250 cc. and eighth in 600 cc King of Hill.

Travis Schroedl of Fairfax was second in 750 cc, 5.793; and ninth in 450cc, 6.069 seconds and 10th in four-stroke, 5.725. Chad Mack of New Ulm was 15th, 6.331.

Zach Gulden, Searles was 10th in two-stroke, 6.388.

Brent Engel, Lake Crystal was seventh in open class, 8.814.

Chad Mack was fifth in open class, 6.561.
