NEW ULM — Bolton & Menk employees began a topographical survey of the Recreation Center grounds, Thursday.

The survey is necessary for the design phase of the RENU projects planned for site. A new aquatic center, indoor playground, wellness center and gymnastic center are planned for the recreation center.

Surveyors Jesse Zeig and Collin Thompson began the survey Thursday morning. Zeig said the survey could take two to three days. The survey included aerial photos taken with a drone.
