NEW ULM — Authors Julie Schrader and Bryce Stenzel will visit New Ulm Public Library on Tuesday, April 30, at 6:30 p.m. to discuss their new book, “The Boy in Blue: Blue Earth County Minnesota’s Civil War Memorial.” The book details the history of the original Civil War monument erected in Mankato’s historic Lincoln Park in 1893, its demise and the effort to reconstruct it during the recent sesquicentennial of the American Civil War.
