Grand night for the Hall of Fame

The Helget clan showed up in full force to support Johnny Helget in his induction to the Minnesota Music Hall of Fame.

The crowd gave loud round of applause for Johnny Helget as he made his way to the podium to accept his award.
Dean Billmeyer: University of Minnesota organist, Dean Billmeyer, was unable to attend the ceremony in person but was grateful for the honor.
Frances Desmore, a native of Red Wing, MN was called a “song catcher” for her work preserving the music of Native American people.
Andrew Nelson and Cheryl Wason with the 451st Army Band accepted the award on behalf of all the members. In the band’s 70 year history there has been at least 800 member and has played around the world.
