Handgun theft reported at R&R Bait&Tackle

NEW ULM — Police responded to a burglary involving three handguns stolen from R&R Bail & Tackle, 1405 N. Broadway at 7 a.m. Aug. 29.
Forced entry was made via an alley door. Stolen items include a matte black Smith & Wesson M&P9 Shield 9mm valued at $360; a matte black frame and stainless slide Kahr Arms CW9 9mm valued at $330; and a FNH FNX45 .45 caliber stainless finish valued at $600.
The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco & Firearms (ATF) is assisting New Ulm Police with the investigation.
