Schouvieller receives ANFP award

Candas Schouvieller, right received the Ambassador Award from the Association of Nutrition and Food Service Professionals recently in Orlando, Fla.

ST. CHARLES, IL — The Association of Nutrition & Foodservice Professionals (ANFP) recently presented awards to several 1ndiv1duals and corporate partners that demonstrate the highest level of dedication to the association and the foodservice industry. The honors were awarded during ANFP’s Annual Conference & Expo (ACE), which took place June 1-4 in Orlando, Fla. The ANFP awards program celebrates foodservice industry innovators and applauds individuals who advance and support Certified Dietary Managers and the CDM, CFPP credential.

Candas Schouviller, LNHA, CEO/Administrator of Oak Hills Living Center received the Ambassador Award. This award is given to an administrator, dietitian, etc. who demonstrated commitment of the COM, CFPP credential and supports the nutrition and foodservice department leader through mentoring.

Schouvieller is responsible for the day-today operations and the financial health of the organization. She has been part ANFP for 12 years and was the recipient of the Minnesota ANFP Employer of the Year award in 2017. She encourages her staff to advance their careers and accomplish their goals through continuing education. Schouvieller advocates for the credential by providing support for dietary staff by allowing them the time needed and by providing the financial support necessary to maintain their credentials.
