Submitted photo Four local Boy Scouts received their Eagle Scout awards, the highest achievement in Boy Scouts, on Sunday, April 23, at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in New Ulm. (From left) Andrew Blumhoefer, Dan Lindquist, Tony Rosenhamer and Kelby Stocker, all New Ulm High School seniors, have been with Troop 25 since first grade. They each received their Arrow of Light when crossing over from the Cub Scout Pack 51 to Boy Scout Troop 25 in 2010. Each scout chose a different project to enhance their community. Blumhoefer built five Little Free Libraries and installed them in various parks in New Ulm. Lindquist repainted and repaired the siding of the Izaak Walton League Lodge at the Brown County Fairgrounds. Rosenhamer planted a pollinator garden as well as installed 12 raised garden beds for the Washington Learning Center. Stocker installed agility equipment and added shade material for the dogs at the local dog park.
