New Ulm Day of Giving

NEW ULM — The New Ulm Business & Retail Association (NUBRA) is hosting a New Ulm Day of Giving on Thursday, Dec. 8.  This is a chance for residents and visitors to shop at local New Ulm stores and support area charities at the same time!  Up to 10 percent of the pre-tax sale on purchases at participating businesses will go to one of three local charities: Community and Seniors Together (CAST), Junior Achievement (JA), and the New Ulm Area Foundation. Shoppers choose the charity at the register when making their purchase.  The businesses will make the donation to the charity selected by the customer.

The following businesses are participating in the New Ulm Day of Giving: A to Zinnia Floral & Gifts, Gallery 512 Boutique, Lambrechts Gifts, Lola’s – An American Bistro, Semblance, River Bend Business Products, Rooms and Rest, Spinning Spools Quilt Shop, and Sewing Seeds Quilt Co.

Other area businesses are getting involved as well. New Ulm Furniture, 3M, and the New Ulm Area Chamber of Commerce are each holding their own fundraiser for these charities. More details about New Ulm Day of Giving are available at www.newulm.com.
