NEW ULM Alliance Bank, New Ulm, has announced the recent hiring of Peter D. Guggisberg as assistant vice president, commercial and agricultural lending.

Guggisberg comes to Alliance Bank with over 14 years of professional experience in commercial and agricultural lending, most recently as market leader for Bank Midwest, New Ulm,. Prior to that, Guggisberg was a loan officer at United Prairie Bank in New Ulm.

Guggisberg earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from University of Minnesota, Duluth. Guggisberg serves on the board of directors of the New Ulm Sleepy Eye Hockey Association, New Ulm Area Youth Football, and the New Ulm Economic Development Authority. He is also a member of the New Ulm Jaycees, and the Sertoma Club of New Ulm.
