Ulm City Hall on Tues-

day, September 19,

2023 at 4:30 p.m. to

consider the noise vari-

ance request from New

Ulm Chamber of Com-

merce to permit ampli-

fied sound on Min-

nesota Street between

Center and 1 st North

Streets on Saturday,

October 7, 2023 from

4:00 p.m. to midnight

on Sunday, October 8,

2023 for Oktoberfest

activities. The City

Code limits the produc-

tion or reproduction of

sound between the

hours of 9:00 p.m. to

9:00 a.m. if it is audible

at a distance of 500′

from the source.

This variance request

is authorized by Sec-

tion 8.08, Subdivision 9

of the New Ulm City

Code. Notice of the

Public Hearing is being

sent to all property

owners within 500 feet

of the source.

All interested parties

are invited to attend or

to submit written com-

ments or questions.
