Notice of Public Meeting

Brown County will be holding a public meeting at 11:00 am on Tuesday September 22nd, 2020 in the Brown County Law Enforcement Center Training Room at15 S Washington St, New Ulm, MN 56073, to discuss the Watonwan River Comprehensive Watershed Management Plan.

Issues discussed will include concerns regarding the Watonwan River Watershed and how the Management Plan was developed for the watershed by the Watonwan Watershed Planning Partnership through a cooperative effort of Blue Earth, Brown, Cottonwood, Jackson, Martin, and Watonwan Counties and Soil and Water Conservation Districts (SWCD) and residents within the Watonwan River Watershed.

All residents within the watershed are encouraged to attend and share their concerns. Due to COVID-19 and regulation from the State, in person space is limited. The hearing will have WebEx access and is available by contacting Brown County Administration at 507-233-6600

For more information regarding the Watonwan River Comprehensive Watershed Management Plan, please refer to the Brown County Water Planning website or contact either Brown SWCD or Brown County Water Planner.

All persons interested may appear and be heard at said time and place, or submit views in writing or by noon on September 21, to Brown County representative. If you know of any interested property owners who, for any reason, has not received a copy of this notice, please inform him/her of the time and place of the meeting.
