According to court documents, New Ulm Police responded to a theft report at Menard’s at 5:48 p.m. Jan. 14. The store general manager said that about 4:08 p.m., a woman, later identified as Finden, walked through several aisles and placed rolls of wire in her purse and placed other items in her shopping cart. According to court documents, New Ulm Police K9 Patrolman Andrew Kuester was traveling westbound on Highway 14 near the Palmer Ave. intersection at 9:59 p.m. Dec. 22 when he saw a 1997 Black Ford F150 with an in-operational middle brake light.
