• Jesus Valdez, 44, Arlington, pled guilty to third-degree DWI and obstructing legal process Feb. 19. He was ordered to pay $1,000 within 90 days. The court stayed adjudication on the DWI charge and convicted Valdez of obstructing the legal process. He was placed on up to 1 year supervised probation with conditions of serving 10 days in the Sibley County Jail, completing a comprehensive assessment, attend a Victim Impact Panel, not use or possess alcohol or non-prescribed controlled substances.
• Heather June Jonason, 35. Mankato, pled guilty to felony theft Feb. 19. She was ordered to pay $485 within 90 days and sentenced to 90 days in the Sibley County Jail, stayed and placed on up to 1 year unsupervised probation on conditions she have no contact with the victim.
• Laurie Kay Gorman-Nolte, 62, Gibbon, pled guilty to fifth-degree possession of a controlled substance Feb. 19. Adjudication was stayed. She was $300 and placed on up to 1 year supervised probation with conditions she complete a comprehensive assessment within 60 days and follow all recommendations. She may not use or possess alcohol or non-prescribed controlled substances.
