• Michael Lee Doering, 71, Winthrop, plead guilty Oct. 9 to amended felony fifth-degree possession of a controlled substance. He was sentenced to 15 mo. In state prison, effective immediately.
• Jose Omar Garcia-Cortes, 39, Mesa, Az entered a guilty plea Oct. 9 to amended felony first-degree possession of a controlled substance. The Court dismissed remaining counts and sentenced him to 65 mo. In state prison, effective immediately.
• Unconditional bail was set at $250,000 cash or bond Oct. 8 for Joseph Allen Hutton, 18, Le Sueur, on charges alleging two counts of sexual solicitation of a child. He also appeared on allegations he violated release conditions for third-degree criminal sexual conduct. Conditional bail, that he have no contact with the alleged victim was set at $5,000 cash or $50,000 bond.
• Unconditional bail was set at $250,000 cash or bond Oct. 7 for Jordan Joseph Reich, 29, Arlington, on a charge alleging domestic assault by strangulation. He could be released on his own recognizance with conditions that he not use or possess alcohol or non-prescribed controlled substances and comply with electronic home monitoring. A hearing was set for 9:45 a.m. Oct. 23.
• Unconditional bail was set at $100,000 cash or bond Oct. 6 for Noah Gentle Fields Jr., 19, St. Cloud, on multiple charges including third-degree possession of a controlled substance. He could be released on his own recognizance with conditions that he not use or possess alcohol or non-prescribed controlled substances and comply with color wheel testing. A hearing was set for 9 a.m. Nov. 13.
• Unconditional bail was set at $100,000 cash or bond Oct. 6 for Noah Riley Herrington, 18, St. Cloud, on multiple charges included third-degree possession of a controlled substance. He could be released on his own recognizance with conditions. A hearing was set for 9 a.m. Nov. 13.
