Sibley County Court

• Unconditional bail was set at $500,000 cash or bond July 7 for Orlando Omar Castillo, 32, Arlington on charges alleging unlawful possession of a firearm, felony fifth-degree possession of a controlled substance and third-degree DWI. Conditional bail was set at $5,000 cash or $10,000 bond. An omnibus hearing was set for 10:30 a.m. July 24. Castillo remains in Sibley County Jail custody.

• Homero Soto, 40, Mankato, pleaded guilty July 10 to third-degree DWI. He was sentenced to 364 days in the Sibley County Jail, stayed for up to two years supervised probation. Conditions include two days in jail, 28 days on electronic home monitoring with electronic alcohol monitoring, complete a comprehensive assessment within 60 days, follow all recommendations, attend a Victim Impact Panel within 180 days, pay $985.
