Sibley County Court

• Unconditional bail was set at $10,000 cash or bond Friday for Delyle James Jenkins, 67, Gibbon on a charge alleging felony fifth-degree possession of a controlled substance. The court ruled he could be released on his own recognizance with conditions. A Rule 8 hearing was set for 1 p.m. July 3.

• Unconditional bail was set at $1 million cash or bond June 17 for Jeremy Joseph Schaak, 37, Duluth, on charges alleging unlawful possession of a firearm, second-degree assault, making threats of violence and felony domestic assault. Conditional bail was set at $500,000 cash or bond. A Rule 8 hearing was set for 11 a.m. June 23.

• Chol David Khat, 31, Mankato, plead guilty to felony first-degree DWI June 17. Another first-degree DWI charge plus a gross misdemeanor driver’s license alcohol restriction violation, gross misdemeanor child endangerment and speeding charges were dismissed. He was sentenced to 41 months in prison.

• Kenneth Samuel Powers, 45, N. Mankato, admitted to violating probation terms on an underlying offense of felony fifth-degree controlled substance possession. He was reinstated on probation with previously ordered terms plus 90 days in jail.
