* Jerod R. Spaude, 39, Brownton, appeared March 23 for a bail hearing on charges alleging two counts of Third Degree Criminal Sexual Conduct. The court released the defendant on his own recognizance, but ordered that he have no direct or indirect contact with the alleged victims. The defendant’s next court appearance is an omnibus hearing scheduled for May 7, 2020 at 9: 45 a.m

.* Ryan J. Smith, 26, Redwood Falls appeared March 23 for an admit/deny hearing on allegations that he violated the terms of his probation on an underlying offense of Felony Fifth Degree Possession of a Controlled Substance. The court executed the defendant’s sentence of one year and one day in State Prison. That sentence will begin immediately.
