New Ulm Police

• Took a call at 6 p.m. Monday from a 31-year-old New Ulm woman who said a man she has a Domestic Abuse No Contact Order (DANCO) against was in a prohibited distance from her current location. Officers arrived, met the man, who was 23 and homeless, arrested him and transported him to the Brown County Jail. The man was issued a citation for violating a DANCO.

• The same man who was cited earlier and released from jail Tuesday, returned to the same location he was prohibited from being was arrested and transported to the Brown County Jail at 2:10 p.m. Tuesday. A report went to the New Ulm City Attorney’s Office for violating the DANCO.

Sleepy Eye Police

• Arrested a 28-year-old Sleepy Eye man for DWI at 1:16 a.m. Sunday on 1st Ave. N. after he damaged two vehicles and a boat. A report went to the Brown County Attorney’s Office.

• Received a cruelty to animals report at 7:23 p.m. Monday on the 300 block of Main St. East. The report is under investigation.
