SLEEPY EYE — A Vietnam-era Huey helicopter recently delivered to Sleepy Eye will be part of the Aug. 20 Grand Parade at the Sleepy Eye Summerfest celebration.

The helicopter will follow the Sleepy Eye Honor Guard in the parade that begins at 6 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 20.

More than $93,000 was donated by the public and area businesses to acquire and refurbish the helicopter that will be dedicated Sept. 11 in Sleepy Eye Veteran’s Park on Main Street.
