Free folk music concert at library
Internationally renowned folk music duo, Hungrytown, will hold a free concert Thursday, May 26 at the New Ulm Public Library.
Hungrytown’s simple, melodic songs with strong harmonies and memorable arrangements are mostly original, but its inspiration is from traditional folk songs.
The duo will be performing in the New Ulm Public Library’s meeting room at 7 p.m. on Thursday. The free program is made possible by a grant provided by the Traverse des Sioux Library Cooperative and funded by the Minnesota’s Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund. Call 507-359-8331 for more information.
