Even though the annual in-person New Ulm Diabetes Walk had to be canceled this year due to COVID-19, the mail-in solicitation part of this event was a huge success, area Lions Clubs report. This is a joint collaboration of the Lions Club of New Ulm and the Lafayette Area Lions Club. Over $11,500 was raised for the Minnesota Lions Diabetes Foundation to find a cure for Diabetes at the University of Minnesota. Pictured is the Bob Wise family who walked on their own to find a CURE.
