Veterans coffee bar donation

Brown County Veterans Service Office recently a beverage cooler, coffee maker, and supply storage shelf from the New Ulm Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1648. The VFW received the idea from member Lyle Zobel who said that the Veterans Office customers deserved a warm cup of coffee, tea, cocoa, or a cool bottle of water when they visit with our County Service Officers. The Brown County Veterans Council, which is made up of the Commanders of the County’s nine Veterans Service Organizations have pledged to keep the supplies stocked so that there is no cost to the taxpayers. Pictured L to R: Post Commander Wil Burdorf, Vets Officer Greg Peterson, Quartermaster Tom Flatau, and Adjutant Avery Wills.
