BCHS hosting Halloween Scavenger Hunt Oct. 26

NEW ULM — Halloween mischief returns to the Brown County Historical Society Museum on Saturday, Oct. 26.

Children are invited to track down the Halloween themed items and learn about Brown County’s history at the same time that day from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Pumpkins, scarecrows, witches’ cauldrons, and other Halloween décor will be hidden throughout the museum. Scavenger Hunt participants are encouraged to dress in costumes. Treats and tattoos will be given away. Admission is free from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Regular admission will resume after 12 p.m.

Visitors can view the award-winning exhibit on the U. S. Dakota War, view Gag family art and learn about the Prohibition Era of Brown County. Also the vintage Popcorn Wagon will be open for business from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
