In Appreciation

Lions Club says “Thank You” for a successful Fly-In Breakfast

The Lions Club of New Ulm would like to thank everyone who attended our 46th annual Fly-In Breakfast for their support. In spite of the rain, we served almost 1100 people and had a great time doing it. We screened 25 children for vision problems. Three of those children were referred to an eye doctor. This service was done at no cost to the parents using our new Welch Allyn SPOT Vision Screener. We would also like to thank all the businesses and individuals listed below for making this year’s Fly-In a success.

City of New Ulm; New Ulm Flight Service; Thrivent Financial; Martin Luther College; Turner Hall; Cash Wise Foods; Hy-Vee Food Store; AMPI Butter Plant; Firmenich Inc.; Hermel/New Ulm Wholesale; Rent-N-Save Portable Services; River View Sanitation; River Region Coop; McDonald’s Restaurant; New Ulm National Guard Armory; New Ulm Police Dept.; New Ulm Fire Dept.; Nuvera; Allina Medical Transportation; Jaycees of New Ulm; Boy Scouts of New Ulm; New Ulm Chamber of Commerce; The Journal; KNUJ AM / SAM FM Radio; NUCAT; Sid’s Signs on Broadway; Legion Riders; Izaak Walton League of New Ulm; Mead & Hunt Consulting (airport design); All Pilots who supported us in the past; All Lions and Non-Lions that helped made our Fly-In possible

To everyone who enjoyed breakfast with us, Thank You for your support. It is through projects like this that the Lions Club of New Ulm is able to support people with Sight, Hearing and Diabetes impairments and other humanitarian needs. “We Serve”
