Lydia Schoof of New Ulm has received the University of Wisconsin-Stout Chancellor’s Award for the spring 2019 semester.

The award is presented to students who have a grade point average of 3.5 or above.

The following students from the area graduated in May 2019 from the University of Wisconsin-Stout in Menomonie, Wis.

UW-Stout, Wisconsin’s Polytechnic University, has 50 undergraduate majors and 21 graduate programs, including one doctoral degree. UW-Stout, established in 1891, prides itself on the success of its students in the workplace, with an employment rate at or above 98 percent for recent graduates. The university was awarded the Malcolm Balridge National Quality Award in 2001.

Jessica Moe of Springfield recently graduated from Rochester Community and Technical College (RCTC) at the end of Spring Semester 2019. Jessica received CERT for Equine Science Horse Husbandry, High Honors.

The College’s 103rd Commencement Ceremony was held on May 16, 2019 in the Regional Sports Center.

The Spring Semester Dean’s List at Gustavus Adolphus College has been released. The list comprises students who have earned a 3.7 grade point average (based on a scale in which 4.0 = A) or higher for the semester ending in May 2019.

The following local residents were among more than 800 students from Rochester Community and Technical College who made the High Academic Achievement List for Spring Semester ending this past May:

Kristin Blume, Justin Bruns, Jessica Miller, all of New Ulm

Jessica Moe, Springfield

To qualify for the High Academic Achievement List, a student must have completed 3-11 credits for the same semester with a 3.75-4.0 GPA.
