Land is being purchased by New Ulm Industries for an industrial park. Floyd Saffert, president of American Artstone, said his firm had a number of other offers for the land but “we felt it was in the best interest of the community to sell to the city or New Ulm Industries, that better use would be made of it.” Robert Berens, vice president of New Ulm Industries, handled negotiations for NUI.
