Siebenbrunner To Have No Opposition On Ballot.

As forecast last week, only two wards will see a contest in the coming city election which will be held next Tuesday April 7.Councilors Siebenbrunner andHamann of the first and fourth wards respectively will undoubtedly be returned to the council without opposition, while Councilors Charles Kuehlbach of the third ward and George J. Saffert of the second ward must wait the counting of the ballots to determine whether they will take part in future council meets.
Three Candidates In Three
In the third ward there are three candidates for councilor. Charles Kuehlbach, the present incumbent is seeking reelection and opposed to him are G.W. Schlottman and Frank Woratschka. In the second ward the contest is between Wm. J. Hoss, Jr., and George Saffert, the present title holder. The contests in both of these wards are likely to be close and will no doubt draw much attention from the voters on election day.

The voting places in the various precincts and wards of the city are as follows.
First Ward, First precinct–Washington School House. First Ward, Second Precinct, Franklin School House.
Second Ward, First Precinct–Municipal Building.
Second Ward, Second Precinct-Lincoln School House.
Third, Ward, First precinct Armory.
Third Ward, Second precinct-Lutheran School House. Fourth Ward, First precinct-CourtHouse.
Fourth Ward,Second precinct-HighSchool. Judges of Election The following appointments were made at the March Council meeting for judges at the coming spring election. First-ward, first precinct- P. J. Soukup, Otto F. Oswald and Emil Frenzel; first ward, second precinct-John Nagel, Henry Grausam and Ed. Macho; second ward, first precinct, Chas. Grussendorf, C. G.Reim and John Franta; second ward, second precinct- F. H. Bastain, A.A. Dahl and A. A. Schlumpberger; third ward, first precinct- At. Henle, Wm. Durbahn and A. J. Meyer; third ward, second precinct-William Lieb, Charles Kuehlbach and H. F. Schrader; fourth-ward, first precinct-Fred Hamann, Franz Niemann and George Hogen, Fourth ward first precinct-John G. Gronau, August C. Dahl and Otto Montgomery. There will, however, be several changes as some of the men appointed are unable to serve.
