CARLS TAXI OFFICE AT BROECKER’S GARAGE
New Ulm Cab Service
In New Quarters
Since January 1.
——–
Carl Steinberg, owner and manager of Carl’s Taxi Line in this city, has removed his quarters from the South Side Auto Co, to the Broecker Garage at 105 South Minnesota Street. All calls are to be sent to this point which can be reached by telephoning 194, instead of 644, the old number. The change took place at the first of the new year.
Established in 1923.
Mr. Steinberg started the taxi service in New Ulm, November 26,1923, and in the past year has worked up a splendid trade thru his prompt and courteous service. At the time of opening only one cab was used, a Ford Sedan. At this time three cabs are used all of the time and a fourth car is needed during the rush periods.Three drivers are hired to answer the calls promptly and good service is the watch-word of this concern. Mr. Steinberg announced today that if business continues as good as it is at the present time, in the spring he will buy two genuine yellow cabs for the service here. Day and night service is rendered and there is a large field for the work here, due to the fact that there is no other exclusive taxi service in this city. During the month of December more than 3,000 calls were handled satisfactorily.
This office has been requested to thank the public for the splendid patronage afforded Carl’s Taxi in the past year and to assure the residents of New Ulm that at all times first class service will be supplied.
