The next wrestling match will be staged at Turner theatre, Friday evening, May 9. A card has been arranged by Promoter Alex. Vogel. The star event will be between Bobby Bylund, Minneapolis, contender for middleweight champion, and Fritz Hanson, Wilmington, N. C., also champion middleweight contender.

Both mat artists are well known in New Ulm, as each has appeared in wrestling contests at Turner theatre.

Bylund at Chicago.

Bylund is scheduled to wrestle with Jos. Parello, the Italian, who recently defeated Johnny Meyers, middleweight champion. The Italian is he present champion in his class. Should Bylund win the match he will be champion and the local match on May 9 will be a championship go.

Van Wurden at

Oshkosh,Wis.

Van Wurden, who, it had been arranged, was to meet Bylund at the Turner theatre next Tuesday evening, has a match at Oshkosh, Wis., on Thursday evening next week, so it is impossible to have the Canadian champion and Bylund meet here next week, by reason of the conflict in the dates of their matches at Chicago and Oshkosh.

However, Mr. Vogel informs the Journal that a match will be arranged between Van Wurden and Bylund at later date.

Semi-Windup Arranged.

A semi-windup has been arranged between Jonny Butler, Indian wrestler of Stanton, Nebr., weighing 142 pounds, and Burk Sterling, of Mankato, weighing 142 pounds. Sterling is welterweight champion of southern Minnesota.
