TUCSON–With great sadness, we announce the passing of Ron Bieraugel, 83, of Tucson, Arizona on October 7, 2023. Ron was born on April 4, 1940 in New Ulm, Minnesota. After graduating from Cathedral High School in 1958, he served four years in the U.S. Navy. He then earned a pharmacy degree at the University of Minnesota in 1968. His career as a licensed pharmacist began at Loop Pharmacy in downtown Mpls and later he worked for Snyder Bros. in Bloomington, MN. In 1996, he moved to Medford, Oregon where he worked many years for Phoenix Pharmacy before retiring and moving to Tucson, Arizona.

Ron was well respected, devoted to his career, had a caring demeanor, and an especially tender heart for his “pups.” Preceded in death by his parents, Raymond & Cecelia; his brother, Richard. Survived by a community of friends and family who will dearly miss him including his sisters, Lois Buczek and Jean Bieraugel (Jay Hansen); nieces & nephews; and ex-wife, Anita Bennett, who remained a close friend throughout his life.
