Jeff and Lori Firkus of Hugo, announce the engagement of their daughter, Danielle Marie Firkus, to Dr. Daniel Bradley Allan Stark, son of Bradley and Elen Stark of Sanborn.

The bride-to-be is an occupational therapist specializing in hand therapy for Twin Cities Orthopedics in Lake Elmo. She is a 2011 graduate of Forest Lake High School. She graduated from The College of St. Scholastica in 2014 with her Bachelor of Arts in Health Science and, in 2015, she graduated with her Masters of Science in Occupational Therapy from St. Scholastica.

The future groom is beginning his career as a physical therapist specializing in sports orthopedics with Twin Cities Orthopedics in Stillwater. He is a 2008 graduate of Minnesota Valley Lutheran High School in New Ulm. He graduated from Bethany Lutheran College in 2012 with a Bachelor of Arts in Exercise Science and, in 2016, graduated from the College of St. Scholastica with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy.

An Aug. 13 wedding is planned.
