SLEEPY EYE — Cooper Walter racked up five RBIs and pitched five innings to lead the Sleepy Eye VFW baseball team by Madelia Junior Legion 17-2 on Wednesday in a VFW-Junior Legion baseball crossover game. While he was strong at the plate with a .352 batting average, 37 hits, 30 RBIs, 34 runs scored and 21 stolen bases, where Becker truly shined was on the mound.
