Three Eagles golfers honored by BSC

The Big South Conference released its All-Conference Golf Teams on Thursday, with three New Ulm Eagles being recognized. Juniors Brandt Munson and Colton Anderson earned All-Conference boys golf honors, while senior Lilly Kral was named an All-Conference girls player. St. Peter was the overall boys conference champion, while Marshall won the overall conference girls title.

Sleepy Eye Jr. Legion down St. Clair

STARK — The Sleepy Eye Junior Legion baseball team downed St. Clair 10-1 on Wednesday night in a junior legion baseball game. Adam Braulick earned the win on the mound in six innings of work, allowing three hits and three walks for one earned run while striking out three. Tyler Sellner pitched the seventh and struck out two. Derek Wales led the Sleepy Eye bats, going 2 for 3 with two RBIs and two runs scored, while Jaxon Saenz was 2 for 4 with two RBIs and a run scored.

Tomahawk-Valley releases All-Conference golf honors

The Tomahawk-Valley Conference released its All-Conference boys and girls golf teams on Thursday. The boys conference MVP was Sleepy Eye United’s Nolan Kucera, while the boys Coach of the Year was SEU’s Bryant Mages. The girls conference MVP was SEU’s Sam Price, while the girls Coach of the Year was also Mages.
