Nilson files for District 88 school board

NEW ULM – A third candidate has filed for New Ulm School Board, Tara Nilson officially filed her affidavit of candidacy for the District 88 School Board Thursday. Nilson described herself as a stay at home mother of an 11 year-old and a 14-year-old, both of whom attend New Ulm Public School. Nilson is originally from Minneapolis where she attended public school. She moved to New Ulm in 2010. Nilson said she wanted to run for school board to have a voice in the community.
