According to court documents, New Ulm Police were on patrol near North Highland Avenue and U.S. Highway 14 in New Ulm at 4:30 p.m., March 7 when they noticed a red Buick LeSabre registered to Mack, who had an active arrest warrant and his driving status was revoked.
Police stopped the vehicle and were Mack admitted he was not supposed to be driving. A pat search was done and no contraband was located. Mack was transported to jail and turned over to jail staff without incident. Nearly an hour later, police were requested to return to jail after a jail correctional officer found an empty, orange Suboxone package, a blue Suboxone package containing a single sublingual film, a piece of tin foil with burnt residue and a pen with burnt residue. Police were informed that Mack does not have a prescription for Suboxone, a Schedule III controlled substance.
