Dear Heloise: This may be an old hint, but when I put on a pair of old rubber/latex gloves to do my dishes, I sprinkle talcum or baby powder into the gloves. MANKATO — The Highway 14 New Ulm to Nicollet construction project implemented a traffic detour modification by mid-afternoon, Monday, June 19. The traffic modification will involve the closing of existing Highway 14 from Courtland to the MPM (New Ulm Quartzite Quarry) driveway. There will be no access along Highway 14 until late August in this area.
