LWV Meet Your Local Elected Officials series

Meet the Brown County Commissioners

NEW ULM – The League of Women Voters of New Ulm will host the third and final session in it’s “Meet Your Local Elected Officials” series, from 7-8 p.m. Monday, March 23.

The final session will highlight the Brown County Commissioners and will be held in the City Hall Council Chambers. All community members are encouraged to attend these free and informative events.

The first session in the “Meet Your Local Elected Officials” series featured New Ulm’s Mayor and City Council Members and the second session featured ISD88 School Board Members. These events were broadcast live on NUCAT and recorded for future airing on the community access channel, KNUJ and YouTube.

These events give elected officials an opportunity to share their perspectives on current issues facing New Ulm, Brown County and the impacts of state and federal decision-making on the community, and the priorities and projects they look forward to advancing in the coming year.

“Empowering Voters” is a signature program of the League of Women Voters – New Ulm, a trusted, nonpartisan source of voter information serving New Ulm and the Brown County area. The League remains committed to helping residents engage with their elected leaders and stay informed about the democratic process.
