Georgia Hernandez-Brush visited the one-room schoolhouse at the Brown County fairgrounds. The one-room schoolhouse was opening during fair weeks. Interested in the old style of learning, Georgia practices writing on a slate chalkboard.

Fair was the last fair for one its buildings. A former exhibit building constructed in 1909 will be demolished within the next year. The building was closed during this years fairs, by signs hung on the entrances alerted visitors to the upcoming demolition.
