Johnson joins Jensen Parts Team

NEW ULM — Jensens Motors welcomes Troy Johnson to its parts team. Johnson is originally from New Ulm and gained his automotive experience at his father’s shop, Terry’s Mobil.

Johnson has been working in the printing and inventory management industries for many years and has been living in Colorado and Montana. In his free time Johnson enjoys fly fishing, rafting, kayaking.

Rachel Smith receives Accredited Portfolio Management Advisor Designation

NEW ULM — Rachel Smith, a financial advisor with Ameriprise Financial in New Ulm, recently received the Accredited Portfolio Management Advisor® (APMA) designation from the College of Financial Planning. Individuals who hold the APMA designation have completed a course of study encompassing client assessment and suitability, risk/return, investment objectives, bond and equity portfolios, modern portfolio theory and investor psychology. Smith is part of Wealth Management Solutions team, a private wealth advisory practice of Ameriprise Financial Services, Inc.

Smith graduated from Martin Luther College in New Ulm with a degree in Secondary Education. She has five years of experience in the financial services industry.
