Rolling Thunder girls strong at MN/USA state wrestling

ROCHESTER — New Ulm Rolling Thunder Wrestling girls wrestlers Hazley Hoffmann, Karlie Horner and Anna Pollard all finished top five in their brackets at the Minnesota/USA Wrestling State Folkstyle Championships on Friday at RCTC Fieldhouse.
Hoffmann finished 3-1 at the tournament for a second-place finish in the 8U Girls B bracket with three pins.
Horner went 1-1 in her 14U, 135-pound bracket, picking up a fall and finishing second.
Pollard finished fourth in the 16U, 125-pound bracket, going 1-2 with a fall.
Rolling Thunder Wrestling will continue to compete in the tournament this weekend with boys wrestling.
