Wabasso girls fall in playoffs to top-seeded CMC
MONTEVIDEO — Eighth-seeded Wabasso fell to No. 1-seeded Central Minnesota Christian 74-32 on Saturday in a Section 3A Girls Basketball Tournament game.
Wabasso was led by Ava Samyn’s 11 points, five rebounds and two blocks, while Kenley Guetter had 10 points, 13 rebounds, two blocks and two steals. Kayleigha Johnson also had 6 points for the Rabbits.
Wabasso finishes its season 9-19 overall, an eight-win improvement from last season’s 1-26 mark.
